Frequently Asked Questions

Is this cooler compatible with Intel LGA 1700 and AMD AM5 sockets?

Yes, it supports Intel LGA 1700/1200/1 15X and AMD AM5/AM4 sockets. All necessary mounting hardware is included.

Does the RGB lighting require a separate controller?

No separate controller is needed if your motherboard has a 5V 3-pin ARGB header. Otherwise, a standalone controller is recommended

Can I control the pump and fan speeds through my motherboard BIOS?

Yes, both the pump and fans are PWM-controlled and can be managed through BlOS or software depending on your motherboard.

What is the maximum TDP this cooler can handle?

It supports CPUs up to 315W TDP, making it suitable for high-end gaming and workstation builds

Will the RGB sync with ASUS Aura Sync or MSI Mystic Light?

Yes, it supports 5V 3-pin ARGB sync with popular motherboard software like ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, etc

Better than the big dogs

I got the 240mm version and it works better than my EVGA 360. The fans are quiet as well. Loving darkflash so far!

Good value for a 360 AIO. Make sure you've got room for it.

This 360mm AIO cooler performs well, exceptionally so given its price point, keeping CPU temps chilly even at high loads. I used it on one of the older 12-core Ryzen chips, which tends to run cooler than Intel stuff but still gets quite hot during long, CPU-intensive tasks such as software builds. It's big. Most mATX cases, and even many ATX, will not accommodate a 360mm cooler, or will only accommodate one in the front behind the panel, which isn't a great place for it. Better to mount it on the top if you can, so the heat gets exhausted immediately and upward, where it wants to be anyway. Thus, installation can be a little challenging, unless you've got a monster case. I got it in mine, but had to rearrange some stuff because it partially obstructs one of my 5.25" bays (Yes, I've got 5.25" bays. More than one. And I'm using all of them!) If you're using one of these new cases all the kids like, where it's the size of a dorm fridge and mostly polycarbonate and has no useful bays or ports, it'll probably work great. The fans are pretty quiet, even at relatively high RPM, though they're not really the sort of "high pressure" fans one would really like to move a lot of air through a radiator. Even so, they do a pretty good job of cooling -- though I've seen the same performance with a 240mm radiator and proper fans. Noisier, though. The pump is nearly silent, making only the smallest high-pitched whine as one would expect from a motor spinning at 6000+ RPM.This is a perfectly cromulent entry in the AIO cooler field, and will serve well if you're in the territory where you need more than air-cooling but not quite up to the level of a full custom liquid build. If you can fit it in your case.

Great performance and value

This cooler delivers a vibrant RGB look that is customizable and enhances the aesthetic of my build. It provides excellent cooling performance, keeping my CPU well below thermal limits even under full load. The unit looks great inside the case and syncs seamlessly with my other ARGB fans for a unified lighting setup. The pump runs quietly, and any sound it makes is easily drowned out by the system fans. Overall, this is a fantastic value for a cooler that performs well and adds a great look to my system.

Janky mounting mechanism on AM4, otherwise pretty good

First let me get performance out of the way. At a 75F ambient, running OCCT with a Ryzen 9 5900X (PBO enabled, draws about 203W package under load), this thing maxed out at 81C when having the fans and pump maxed out at 100%. This isn't the best because these aren't the fastest fans on these AIOs, but it's not bad either.I don't have any complaints about the build quality, the ARGB is also pretty good. The fans only come out with a single PWM and ARGB cable (with the ARGB having daisy chaining), the pump has a separate ARGB, and the RGB can rotate 360 degrees so I guess you can have the logo oriented in the correct direction. You do get 2 tube combs that has a little clip in the middle for you to run cables into, which is a pretty nice touch. It uses an Asetek-style bracket that twists onto the pump, keep in mind though there's a side that faces up and a side that faces down (this is marked on the bracket). The issue I have is the AM4 mounts. Because they screw directly to the backplate without any rubber pads/grommets, the backplate will wobble all over the place, unsecured, until you mount the cooler. However, because it wobbles all over the place, you have to press against the backplate in order to get the screws into the mounting bracket. This isn't an issue on AM5 because AM5's backplate is mounted to the socket, but this is just not a great mounting mechanism for AM4.At the time of this review, this thing is $73.14 w/ a 10% discount coupon. It's not the cheapest 360mm AIO with ARGB fans, but the price is still pretty good. The AM4 mount is just awful, but other things about this AIO are pretty good overall.

Works well, quiet too

Pros-Works great on both of my systems - I have a 240 version on a 12600k/6700 10gb system and the 360 version on my 7800x3d/5070tiPump is surprisingly quiet unless maxed out.RGB fans look nice and seem to perform wellPump housing can be rotated so the logo is upright no matter how it is installedIncludes Intel and AMD mounting with clear and accurate installation instructions.Includes some basic thermal pasteWell packagedCons-Nothing to report here yet.  Seems like these are solid AIO coolers.
